Once you have completed the LCQ course and assessment, we will report your unit standard credits to NZQA and you will receive a Tree House LCQ Certificate.
Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded the following NZQA unit standards:
Unit Standard 4646 is a a theory-based unit standard for people who are responsible for liquor sale and supply and who require knowledge of the requirements and implications of the terms and conditions of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 for day-to-day activities. People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and its implications for licensed premises.
Unit Standard 16705 is a a theory-based unit standard for people who are responsible for the control of licensed premises. People credited with this unit standard are able, as a duty manager, to demonstrate knowledge of: alcohol and intoxication in licensed premises; the responsibilities and requirements for alcohol service in licensed premises; and the maintenance of a safe drinking environment.
Please note: The Sale of Alcohol Act 2012 Section 216: A Person may not be appointed as a manager of any licensed premises for the purposes of this Act unless the person is of or over the age of 20.
